Accounts Payable Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of accounts payable professionals to ensure high performance and professional growth.
• Supervise the full AP cycle, including invoice processing, approval workflows, and payment management.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and accruals.
• Manage payment preparation and ensure compliance with internal controls and treasury priorities.
• Act as a key point of contact for vendors to resolve complex disputes or sensitive issues.
• Identify and implement process optimization initiatives to increase efficiency and automate manual tasks.
• Collaborate with internal departments like procurement and operations to resolve purchase-to-pay cycle issues.

Requirements

• Diploma in accounting, finance, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounts payable roles.
• Proven leadership and coaching experience with strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with NetSuite or a similar ERP system.
• Bilingualism in French and English (written and oral).
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage complex priorities.
