Accounts Payable Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise the entire accounts payable cycle, from invoice receipt to final payment
• Ensure the reliability, accuracy, and compliance of all invoices, payments, and reconciliations
• Maintain compliance with Canadian tax requirements and regulatory standards
• Manage relationships with French and English-speaking vendors across Canada
• Mentor and develop finance technicians and the BPO team
• Coordinate effectively with internal finance, operations, and procurement teams
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
• Drive process transformation through automation and AI-driven optimization initiatives

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in accounts payable with full cycle mastery
• Proven experience working in a complex, high-volume environment
• Strong understanding of Canadian taxes (TPS/TVQ, etc.)
• Bilingualism in French and English is mandatory
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Dynamics 365 preferred)
• Advanced Excel skills for data extraction, modeling, and analysis
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI, Coupa, or MediaOcean
