Accounts Payable Specialist

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume of vendor invoices (500+ per month)
• Take ownership of vendor accounts and ensure timely payments
• Communicate with AP Manager regarding vendor onboarding, payment schedules, and PO issues
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts and resolve discrepancies
• Ensure all invoices have proper backup, coding, and approvals
• Assist with domestic and international vendor payments
• Manage vendor onboarding, including credit terms and W9 forms
• Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies
• Contribute to automation and process improvement projects
• Maintain electronic repository for supporting documentation
• Provide customer service to internal customers and suppliers

Requirements

• High school diploma
• 5-10 years of experience in accounts payable
• Ability to work overtime if needed
• Ability to work onsite in Long Beach

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration
• Experience in manufacturing or aerospace industries
• Proficiency with Google Suite
• Experience with NetSuite and Ramp or equivalent AP software
• Strong understanding of procurement and cost accounting principles
