Accounts Payable Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable processes including purchase-to-pay (P2P), three-way matching, payment runs, and month-end close.
• Utilize SAP S/4HANA for vendor invoice management, payment processing, and reconciliation.
• Support SAP S/4HANA innovations such as Central Finance and Supplier Collaboration Portals.
• Perform data migration validation by reconciling data between legacy and target systems.
• Collaborate with both Finance and IT teams to ensure process and functional alignment.
• Analyze large datasets in Excel to identify discrepancies and maintain strong documentation.

Requirements

• 3 to 7 years of experience, specifically including 3+ years as a Business Analyst focused on Accounts Payable.
• Expertise in SAP Fiori and SAP S/4HANA Accounts Payable.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end P2P processes.
• Knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls within an AP environment.
• Proven experience with data migration validation.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to automation tools such as AI, RPA, or SAP Intelligent Automation.
• Business Analysis certifications such as CBAP or PMI-PBA.
• Experience with UAT and SIT testing, including writing test scripts and using JIRA for defect management.
• Background working in telecom, utilities, or large enterprise environments.
• Experience with ECC-to-S/4HANA migration projects.
