Accounts Payable Specialist

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, code, and process vendor invoices in compliance with company policies and Benelux VAT/tax requirements
• Match invoices with purchase orders, goods receipts, and contracts while resolving discrepancies
• Maintain intercompany accounts and support month-end closing activities, including journal entries and accruals
• Prepare and execute payments via SEPA, ACH, and wire transfers in line with cash flow guidelines
• Perform reconciliations for vendor statements, subledgers, and GR/IR
• Prepare reporting and analysis on AP KPIs, overdue items, and payment performance
• Act as the primary contact for vendors and collaborate with internal stakeholders in Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation such as OCR and e-invoicing

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
• 2–4 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting, or related roles
• Strong knowledge of AP processes, accounting principles, and VAT/tax basics
• Experience with ERP systems such as Navision or JDE
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups
• Fluency in French or Dutch and professional proficiency in English
