Accounts Payable Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage workflow to ensure timely processing of vendor invoices
• Verify that all required documentation meets contract payment terms before processing
• Communicate with and resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors, procurement teams, and field managers
• Analyze and assign cost codes in accordance with the contract scope of work
• Create payment forms to apply payments to invoices
• Collaborate with the corporate compliance team to ensure correct payment processing
• Submit monthly reports on contract invoice status to management
• Provide invoice accruals to the control team during the monthly closing process

Requirements

• 3+ years of accounts payable experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies
• Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy in a high-volume environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using SAP or similar ERP software
