About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute payment activities in accordance with SLAs and internal controls, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
- Support vendor onboarding and maintenance, including validating data in Coupa and Oracle Fusion.
- Manage AP issues end-to-end by collaborating with vendors, internal stakeholders, and offshore teams.
- Ensure compliance with SOX controls through maker-checker principles and fraud prevention validations.
- Collaborate with IT and Financial Applications teams to resolve system errors and integration issues.
- Perform period-end close activities, including AP close processes and reporting requirements.
- Identify and drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and maintain up-to-date documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in business or accounting.
- 3-5 years of experience in a finance or accounting function within a global organization.
- Experience with ERP packages such as SAP, Oracle Fusion, or Peoplesoft.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Proven ability to perform in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with strong control discipline.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Experience working in a global, matrixed environment with offshore or shared service teams.
- Experience participating in project teams for technology implementation or enterprise-level process changes.
