About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee the accounts payable department to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
- Manage the transition and stabilization of processes with new outsourced service providers
- Maintain accounts payable policies and procedures while ensuring strict compliance with company standards
- Monitor and analyze AP processes to recommend improvements for increased efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with procurement and finance departments to ensure seamless payment workflows
- Review key reports including aging reports, cash flow projections, and vendor performance metrics
- Supervise outsourced service providers and ensure accurate month-end and year-end close processes
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and assist with audits by providing necessary documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and internal controls
- Experience with ERP systems and accounting software
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) for interacting with international stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail
- Experience in process improvement and implementing best practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Power BI and Alteryx
