Accounts Payable Representative

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and process high volumes of vendor invoices with accuracy and timeliness
• Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies with internal departments
• Ensure proper tax treatment (GST/HST/PST) and coding of expenses in alignment with company standards
• Act as the primary contact for vendor inquiries, providing professional and timely communication
• Maintain organized and complete records of all accounts payable transactions
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to requests
• Identify opportunities to improve A/P workflows, automation, and data accuracy

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting
• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle)
• Strong understanding of GST/HST/PST and Canadian vendor compliance requirements
• Excellent English communication skills and high attention to detail

• Experience in high-volume, multi-entity, or multi-currency environments
