Accounts Payable Officer

Responsibilities

• Process expense account statements, invoices, and expense allocations accurately within the PeopleSoft system
• Review processed invoices and expenses to ensure they meet all regulatory and internal requirements
• Prepare and report entries, including the investigation and resolution of exceptions or unusual transactions
• Use internal controls to detect procedural errors and escalate inconsistencies in expenses
• Follow up on and resolve exceptions, unposted items, and discrepancies related to payment vouchers
• Support reporting supervision activities to ensure Service Level Agreement (SLA) accomplishments
• Identify and support process improvement opportunities and maintain up-to-date Desktop Training Procedures (DTP)

Requirements

• Experience working in a high-volume payment operations or accounts payable unit
• Undergraduate University Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Intermediate-advanced English proficiency (written and spoken)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, or Access
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a standard office-based environment, including non-standard hours when necessary
