Accounts Payable Officer

Responsibilities

• Process invoices and pay all creditors on negotiated terms via cheque or EFT
• Manage local and overseas supplier payments for all branches
• Create new vendor profiles and maintain accurate bank details
• Monitor branch invoice processing for accuracy and timeliness
• Resolve creditor queries and communicate payment status effectively
• Perform monthly reviews of Aged Creditors Listings and investigate overdue items
• Handle credit card and employee expenses, month-end activities, and general ledger reconciliations

Requirements

• Previous experience in an accounts payable or general accounting role
• Exposure to ERP systems, with SAP knowledge being highly regarded
• Intermediate Excel skills, including proficiency with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
• High attention to detail and accuracy with numerical data
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team
