Accounts Payable Officer

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately, verifying coding, approvals, and GST treatment.
• Manage supplier accounts by maintaining master data and resolving statement discrepancies.
• Prepare and process supplier payment runs in accordance with approved schedules and internal controls.
• Perform regular accounts payable reconciliations and assist with month-end accruals and reporting.
• Review employee expense claims and corporate card transactions for policy compliance.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement, and finance teams to resolve purchasing and invoice issues.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reconciliations.

Requirements

• Certificate IV, Diploma, or Bachelor in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable or Finance Officer role.
• Proven experience in high-volume invoice processing within a medium to large organisation.
• Strong understanding of GST requirements and standard accounts payable processes.
• Proficiency with ERP or accounting systems.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities under deadlines.
