Accounts Payable Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting and payout operating functions to assess the impact of company initiatives.
• Manage and implement finance and accounting projects, including requirement design, UAT, and workflow design.
• Identify and drive opportunities for process and technology improvements.
• Provide financial performance analysis and reports to support management decision-making.
• Manage day-to-day financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, accounting principles, and standards.
• Supervise month-end closing processes and maintain the internal control environment (SOX, Anti-Corruption).
• Provide oversight, training, and coaching to department associates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting.
• 8-15 years of experience in finance operations (specifically accounts payable), including management-level experience.
• Proven experience in project management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and presentation tools like PowerPoint.
• Strong knowledge of local and US GAAP.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification and an audit background.
• Experience leading large teams.
• Experience in payment solutions or a credit card environment.
• Knowledge of SQL, data analysis tools, or Excel Macros.
• Accounting experience within the online travel agency industry.
