Accounts Payable Lead

Responsibilities

• Monitor invoices and vendors daily to ensure timely receipt, processing, and payment of vendor balances
• Supervise team members and ensure daily and weekly tasks meet global standards and processes
• Participate in month-end closing activities and periodic review of AP team metrics
• Manage key business vendors by researching and resolving discrepancies or outstanding balances
• Coordinate the escalation process for urgent payment requests
• Complete ad hoc projects as assigned by the A/P Manager or Controller
• Provide accounts payable backup to other AP Specialists as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience, including direct supervision of others
• Proven experience working in a high-volume environment
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including lookup functions, pivot tables, and other formulas
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with NetSuite
• Experience working with SAP Concur
