Accounts Payable Intern

Responsibilities

• Review and process reimbursement submissions, upload and code card transactions, and ensure all supporting documentation is attached
• Follow up with employees regarding missing receipts, invoices, or other supporting documents
• Assist with vendor selection and vendor onboarding administration
• Support month-end close by collecting, uploading, and verifying required invoices and bank statements
• Organize and store invoices in Google Drive and internal folders according to company policy
• Maintain and track open items lists and support ad-hoc audit requests to ensure audit readiness
• Provide general administrative support to the Accounting and Accounts Payable teams

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with structured data and documentation
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to track open items and follow up independently
• Professional written communication skills in English (Hungarian fluency is a plus)
• Familiarity with Google Drive, spreadsheets, and general office tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous exposure to financial systems such as Brex, Tipalti, or NetSuite
