About the role
Responsibilities
- Review, verify, and process invoices and payment requests
- Match invoices to purchase orders or vouchers and perform data entry
- Prepare and perform check runs, electronic transfers, and payments
- Maintain up-to-date vendor files and resolve billing discrepancies
- Assist with month-end closing processes and financial report preparation
- Maintain historical records and ensure compliance with financial policies
- Collaborate with procurement and finance departments to improve processes
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- At least 2 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Experience with SAP, preferably S4
- Strong understanding of accounts payable principles and general ledger structures
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
