Accounts Payable Associate

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Review invoices for proper documentation, approvals, and compliance with company policies
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts, resolving discrepancies as needed
• Maintain vendor files, ensure proper coding, and manage vendor onboarding and updates
• Reconcile vendor statements and research outstanding issues or credits
• Assist with month-end closing activities including accruals, AP aging review, and reporting
• Respond to vendor inquiries professionally and promptly
• Support audits by providing documentation and responding to requests
• Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements within the AP function

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in accounts payable for a high-volume company
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and AP best practices
• Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems such as SAP, Esker, or Epicor preferred
• Solid skills in Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Word
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
