Accounts Payable Assistant

Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable for companies in Brazil and Chile
• Receive, verify, and record supplier invoices, ensuring correct tax and service descriptions
• Register accounts payable in the ERP system and classify cost centers and accounting accounts
• Plan and schedule payments via bank transfer or other approved methods in accordance with company policy
• Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile accounts payable records with supplier statements
• Compile and generate backup information for internal controls
• Register and control advances to suppliers and prepare monthly reports on cash flow and AP status
• Provide support to the Accounts Receivable and Treasury departments

Requirements

• Proven experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or Treasury
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Intermediate level of Spanish and/or English
• Knowledge of integrated ERP systems
• Solid understanding of accounting principles
• Strong organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills
