Accounts Payable and Receivable Specialist

Responsibilities

• Resolve carrier invoice discrepancies using Uber Freight guidelines and carrier rate agreements
• Create shipments for non-managed freight based on customer requirements
• Provide financial support to Operations regarding account issues
• Correspond with Operations, Procurement, and Carrier Pricing regarding invoice discrepancies
• Maintain up-to-date customer business rules, policies, and procedures
• Use JIRA to file tickets for identified invoice resolution issues
• Setup new customer and vendor locations in the TMS

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 1+ years of AP or AR experience
• Basic competency in Excel (spreadsheets, formulas, formatting)
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of Accounts Payable experience in the Transportation industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Google tools
• In-depth knowledge of Uber Freight TMS and TMS Financials systems
