Accounts Payable Analyst

Responsibilities

• Process and review a high volume of invoices for accuracy and completeness
• Ensure timely payments of invoices and resolve any discrepancies
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless financial operations
• Prepare ledger entries, collect data, verify records, and maintain files
• Review invoices for compliance with internal policies, IRS regulations, and tax laws
• Determine correct spend categories and assign ledger or sub-ledger identification numbers
• Respond to vendor and internal stakeholder inquiries regarding payment status
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) years of Accounts Payable experience
• Demonstrated bookkeeping abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to perform reconciliation of expenses and accounts
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within a diverse team
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize workflow
