Accounts Payable Analyst

Responsibilities

• Process, sort, and distribute incoming invoices and expenses in a timely manner according to established guidelines.
• Perform compliant invoice and expense processing activities within the PeopleSoft system.
• Conduct analysis to ensure correct use of GL accounts, cost centers, transits, and tax applicability.
• Review incoming documentation to ensure all requirements for processing are met.
• Create, send, and archive daily accounting packages while maintaining accurate logs for retrieval.
• Identify and escalate discrepancies or issues to the Canada Point of Contact.
• Contribute to process improvement opportunities and maintain up-to-date Desktop Training Procedures (DTP).
• Ensure all activities comply with governing regulations, internal policies, and risk management standards.

Requirements

• Technical or technology degree in a related field.
• Experience working in a high-volume payment operations or accounts payable unit.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate English proficiency (B1 level).
• High attention to detail and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a standard office-based environment, noting that non-standard hours may occur.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in finance or administrative positions.
• Experience with PeopleSoft or similar ERP systems.
