Accounts Payable Analyst

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter invoices with proper GL coding, prepaid, and fixed asset classifications
• Prepare and post weekly AP payment batches, ensuring accuracy and reducing errors
• Manage AP inboxes to ensure timely responses and issue resolution
• Enforce compliance with closed accounting periods and internal controls
• Maintain accurate vendor master data in NetSuite and/or AS400 and collect W-9 forms
• Prepare and distribute annual 1099 filings in accordance with IRS regulations
• Review and process weekly Concur expense reports to ensure alignment with T&E policies
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for overpayments, refunds, and credit memos
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance AP efficiency

Requirements

• 3–5 years of progressive accounts payable or accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment
• Proficiency in NetSuite and AS400 or similar ERP systems
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and reconciliations
• Solid understanding of GAAP, prepaid and accrual accounting, and internal control principles
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Concur or other expense management systems
