Accounts Payable Analyst

Responsibilities

• Capture, validate, and manage PO and non-PO freight invoices within the ERP system
• Ensure accurate entry and indexing of vendor, header, and shipment information
• Validate invoice charges against purchase orders, contracts, and supporting documentation
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, such as PO–GR–IR mismatches, by collaborating with procurement and logistics teams
• Maintain high data integrity for financial reporting and audit support
• Produce regular reports on discrepancies and KPIs to support month-end and year-end close activities
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce cycle times and error rates

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in accounting or invoice processing
• Working knowledge of the invoice processing and payment lifecycle (PO and non-PO invoicing)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong communication skills for resolving issues with stakeholders via email and phone
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under time constraints with shift flexibility as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ERP tools such as Coupa or M3
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of internal controls, SOPs, and SLA adherence
• Experience handling high volumes of transactions in a systematic way
