Accounts Payable Analyst

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and credit memos ensuring accuracy and timeliness in a highly automated environment
• Collaborate with internal and external customers to resolve intricate processing discrepancies
• Respond to inquiries from management and external parties professionally
• Provide general accounting assistance including coding transactions, identifying prepaid assets, and accruing for liabilities
• Initiate workflow approval requests for pricing or quantity discrepancies
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies with limited supervision
• Generate and analyze month-end reports for the accounts payable function
• Support special projects

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in accounts payable processing high volumes of documents
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Proficient understanding of purchase order and non-purchase order processes
• Proficient understanding of three-way and two-way matching processes
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with accounts payable automation tools
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing business environment
• SAP experience
• Experience with vendor setup and maintenance
