Accounts Payable Administrator

Responsibilities

• Attain revenue and pay invoices by verifying and completing payable and receivable transactions
• Verify approvals on all invoices, check requests, purchase orders, and statements required to prepare payments
• Code invoices, issue stop payments, process payments, and manage adjustment notes
• Update and maintain the vendor database, ensuring data backups and historical records are kept
• Reconcile bills, balance account vendor statements, and maintain organized accounts payable files and records
• Support month-end reporting activities and special projects as assigned by management

Requirements

• Associate's degree in accounting or a related field
• 2-5 years of related accounting experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills
• Ability to complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision
• Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
