Accounts Officer

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, including invoicing, billing, and payments
• Process and reconcile daily financial transactions across multiple systems
• Maintain accurate debtor and creditor records and resolve discrepancies
• Perform bank reconciliations and support general ledger accuracy
• Assist with month-end and year-end reporting, journals, and reconciliations
• Prepare financial reports, including aged analysis and variance reviews
• Respond to internal and external finance-related queries
• Support expense processing, petty cash, and general finance administration

Requirements

• Experience in an Accounts Officer, Finance Officer, or similar multi-function accounting role
• Strong understanding of both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Proven reconciliation and general accounting skills
• High attention to detail with strong numerical accuracy
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines, particularly during month-end
• Full working rights in Australia

Preferred Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Finance or Accounting
• Previous experience in hotel or hospitality finance
