Accounts Officer

Responsibilities

• Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Process daily sales reconciliations across internal platforms
• Manage supplier invoices, including foreign currency transactions and statement reconciliations
• Prepare batch payments for global entities and distribute remittance advices
• Manage and reconcile Airwallex virtual company cards and handle employee queries
• Process monthly journals and support end-of-month reconciliations
• Complete and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) in compliance with tax regulations
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure all transactions are properly recorded
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports and tax returns
• Support travel requests and expense tracking for work-related travel

Requirements

• Prior experience as an Accounts Officer or in an equivalent role
• Proven experience in month-end processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and reporting
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work both collaboratively within a team and independently
