Accounts Assistant

Responsibilities

• Completing daily and monthly bank reconciliations
• Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Assisting with month-end and year-end accounting processes
• Producing ad hoc reports and financial information
• Reconciling warranty accounts, intercompany balances, company credit cards, and finance products
• Reconciling used vehicle, demonstrator vehicle, and other stock-related accounts
• Supporting the wider finance team with administrative and accounting duties
• Ensuring all financial records are maintained accurately

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in an Accounts Assistant, Credit Control, or similar finance role
• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organisational skills
• Proactive and methodical approach
• Good working knowledge of finance systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Ability to work independently and within a team
