About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry into the Group’s accounting systems, including purchase ledger, sales, cash book, and subcontractor data.
- Manage purchase ledger processing, including invoice matching and scheduling payments.
- Maintain accurate standing data within the accounting systems.
- Resolve queries by liaising with internal functions and third parties.
- Assist the wider finance team with various tasks as directed by the Accounts Manager.
- Support the transition and rollout of the new COINS ERP system.
Requirements
- Demonstrable hands-on experience working with COINS software and its workflows.
- Proven experience processing purchase ledger and cash book transactions.
- High level of IT literacy, including proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of data entry accuracy.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and manage time efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience completing bank, debtor, and creditor account reconciliations.
- Experience processing sales ledger and subcontractor transactions.
- Familiarity with VAT and CIS requirements, including subcontractor verification.
