About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform data entry into accounting systems, primarily purchase ledger, sales, cash book, and subcontractor data
- Maintain standing data within the accounting system
- Assist team members with account management as directed
- Support the transition to the new COINS ERP system
- Resolve queries by liaising with internal functions and third parties
- Match invoices and schedule them for payment
Requirements
- Demonstrable hands-on experience working with COINS workflows
- Experience processing purchase ledger and cash book transactions
- Proficiency in IT systems including ERPs and Excel
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience in maintaining standing data
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience completing bank, debtor, and creditor account reconciliations
- Experience processing sales ledger and subcontractor transactions
- Familiarity with VAT and CIS requirements and subcontractor verification
