Accounting Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the Shared Service Centre (SSC) strategy, including the setup and growth of the division
• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for IFZA customers
• Oversee the final preparation of monthly financial statements and ensure compliance with IFRS standards
• Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals to ensure operational efficiency and professional development
• Develop and implement procedure documentation in line with internal controls
• Act as a primary contact for customer inquiries regarding financial packages
• Perform final reviews on all reporting information to ensure audit-level standards
• Identify and support continuous improvement and standardization initiatives within the SSC
• Provide regular updates and financial analysis regarding SSC performance to senior management

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CA, CMA)
• 3-5 years of accounting experience
• 1-2 years of management experience
• Strong knowledge of IFRS standards
• Full proficiency in English
• Highly competent in accounting fundamentals and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
• Prior experience with ERP systems is beneficial
