Accounting Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the Shared Service Centre (SSC) strategy, including the setup and growth of the division
• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for IFZA customers
• Oversee the final preparation of monthly financial statements and ensure compliance with audit standards
• Ensure strict adherence to IFRS standards and correct application by the team
• Mentor and develop the accounting team while ensuring compliance with company policies
• Manage customer relationships and provide daily support regarding their financial packages
• Develop and implement procedure documentation to promote operational efficiency and internal controls
• Identify and support continuous improvement and standardization initiatives within the SSC
• Provide regular updates and financial analysis regarding SSC performance to senior management

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CA, CMA)
• 3-5 years of accounting experience
• 1-2 years of management experience
• Strong knowledge of IFRS standards
• Full proficiency in English
• Highly competent in accounting fundamentals and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel
• Prior experience with ERP systems is beneficial
