Accounting & Tax Manager

Responsibilities

• Ensure all accounting activities and financial statements comply with local regulations and Group IFRS standards
• Oversee general ledger activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany transactions to ensure accuracy
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary support and documentation to ensure successful audit outcomes
• Coordinate tax compliance and reporting, including tax audits, tax treaty applications, and transfer pricing documentation
• Drive continuous process improvements to increase the quality and efficiency of accounting services and local implementation of Group initiatives
• Act as a key liaison between outsourced service centers, regional stakeholders, and local teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Extensive experience in both corporate accounting and public accounting firms
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin Chinese
• Proven expertise in Record to Report (R2R) and managing the full financial reporting cycle
• Deep knowledge of accounting principles, including local GAAP and IFRS
• Experience in implementing and maintaining a strong internal control framework
• Solid understanding of local tax regulations and compliance requirements
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies and provide insightful recommendations
