About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage administrative and economic tasks related to patronage, including recording contributions, verifying donor data, and managing payment gateways.
- Perform bank reconciliations and issue donation certificates.
- Handle billing processes for scientific services, space rentals, third-party services, and collaboration agreements.
- Update the ERP database and monitor collections and overdue payments.
- Resolve client incidents and support foundation audits.
- Perform other tasks as requested within the economics and finance area.
Requirements
- Higher degree in Administration and Finance or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar roles involving billing, collections management, and accounting records.
- Knowledge of the tax regime for non-profit entities, including issuing donation certificates and filing Model 182.
- Proficiency in SAP Business One and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- High linguistic competence in Catalan and Spanish, with intermediate English skills.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional training in accounting, finance, or economics.
- Previous experience working within the third sector or non-profit organizations.
- Direct experience in donation management and fundraising processes.
- Knowledge of CRM tools.
