Accounting Specialist Technician

Responsibilities

• Manage administrative and economic tasks related to patronage, including recording contributions, verifying donor data, and managing payment gateways.
• Perform bank reconciliations and issue donation certificates.
• Handle billing processes for scientific services, space rentals, third-party services, and collaboration agreements.
• Update the ERP database and monitor collections and overdue payments.
• Resolve client incidents and support foundation audits.
• Perform other tasks as requested within the economics and finance area.

Requirements

• Higher degree in Administration and Finance or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in similar roles involving billing, collections management, and accounting records.
• Knowledge of the tax regime for non-profit entities, including issuing donation certificates and filing Model 182.
• Proficiency in SAP Business One and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• High linguistic competence in Catalan and Spanish, with intermediate English skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional training in accounting, finance, or economics.
• Previous experience working within the third sector or non-profit organizations.
• Direct experience in donation management and fundraising processes.
• Knowledge of CRM tools.
