Accounting Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage general accounting activities ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures
• Handle accounts payable including recording, controlling, and allocating supplier invoices
• Support monthly closing activities by preparing necessary documentation and verifying data completeness
• Assist the Financial Controller with month-end reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Analyze monthly results including costs, revenues, KPIs, and accruals
• Perform reconciliations for active, passive, and balance sheet accounts, including intercompany reconciliations
• Support periodic tax and administrative compliance and monitoring deadlines
• Collaborate with internal teams, corporate offices, and external consultants to improve administrative processes

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in administrative-accounting, accounting, or controlling within structured international environments
• Diploma in Accounting and/or Degree in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration
• Strong knowledge of general accounting, accounts payable, and monthly closing processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
• Good command of written and spoken English
• High attention to detail, reliability, and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in the hotel, hospitality, or travel sector
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Familiarity with intercompany processes and group reporting packages
• Understanding of management control logic and KPI analysis
