Accounting Specialist

Responsibilities

• Book invoices in SAP4HANA by controlling expenses and reconciling supporting documentation
• Maintain proper Accounting Ledgers by booking G/L entries including bank entries, depreciations, and accruals
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Prepare periodical Vendors’ and Customers’ Ledger reconciliations
• Monitor company tax obligations such as Double Taxation Forms and Royalties
• Support the Accounting Manager during month-end and year-end closing
• Assist the Accounting Manager during interim, fiscal, tax, or VAT audits
• Maintain organized physical and digital records of all accounting documents
• Collaborate with other company departments to ensure open communication

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of working experience
• Experience with high-volume or complex models
• Knowledge of IFRS and GFRS
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills
• Excellent knowledge of English (oral and written)

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree (MSc) in Accounting or Finance
