Accounting Specialist

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with US GAAP and local statutory requirements
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including quarterly reconciliations using Blackline
• Perform monthly flux analysis to explain significant variances between current and prior periods
• Manage cost-object master data and assist partners with expense performance and variance analysis
• Participate in the annual budget process and report findings to the leadership team
• Facilitate SOX compliance for cost accounting activities and maintain effective internal controls
• Prepare quarterly and year-end schedules and assist the tax team with reports and audits
• Drive continuous process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in financial accounting with US GAAP
• Proficiency in financial accounting principles
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, Power BI, Power Query, and Excel
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
• Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule aligned with international time zones

Preferred Qualifications

• CMA, CA, or US CPA certification
