Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical accounting expert in sales cycles and scoping conversations
• Demo the Campfire product and field technical accounting questions on live sales calls
• Identify customer pain points and collaborate with product and engineering teams to build solutions
• Guide the product roadmap by channeling customer insights to the development team
• Develop marketing materials and contribute to the go-to-market strategy

Requirements

• Deep accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting workflows such as period close and journal entry approvals
• Ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience with accounting software or financial technology
• Excellent communication skills and a consultative sales approach
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification
• Mix of public accounting and industry accounting experience in the technology space
• Familiarity with ASC 606, ASC 830, and ASC 842
• Experience applying AI to accounting workflows
