Accounting Services Associate II

Responsibilities

• Examine and prepare statutory accounts, financial statements, and reports
• Maintain accounting and financial records including general ledger and regulatory reports
• Conduct research regarding the impact of changes to accounting rules
• Prepare records, pay vendor invoices, and respond to vendor inquiries
• Manage accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Perform analyses and reconciliations of bill runs to detect fraud
• Analyze capital budget requests and monitor expense control
• Prepare consolidation journal entries and eliminate inter-company transactions
• Coordinate tagging financial statements for regulatory reporting using XBRL
• Assist with payroll expenditure reports and employee benefit documentation

Requirements

• Vocational training, certifications, licensures, or equivalent experience
• Developed skillset in accounting processes, procedures, and systems
• Ability to work within established procedures with moderate supervision
• Strong analytical and data organizing skills
• Effective information and idea exchange skills
