Accounting Services Associate II

Responsibilities

• Examine and prepare statutory accounts, financial statements, and regulatory reports.
• Maintain accurate accounting and financial records, including the general ledger and management reports.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor invoice processing and responding to inquiries.
• Conduct reconciliations of bill runs and transaction entries to ensure accuracy and detect fraud.
• Support payroll processes, including the disbursement of checks, taxes, and employee benefit payments.
• Coordinate XBRL tagging for financial statements to ensure compliance with regulatory reporting standards.
• Analyze capital budget requests and produce expense analyses to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare consolidation journal entries and eliminate inter-company transactions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in maintaining accounting records and financial statements.
• Strong proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Experience with financial reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
• Knowledge of statutory accounting requirements and regulatory reporting.
• Familiarity with payroll support and employee expense reimbursement.
• Experience or understanding of XBRL tagging and financial statement taxonomies.
• Ability to work with a moderate degree of supervision while following established procedures.
