Accounting Services Analyst I

Responsibilities

• Review and verify the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications
• Assist in preparing process dashboards and reconciliation metrics
• Support audit processes by providing necessary supporting records and documentation
• Maintain and update process documentation and desktop procedures
• Ensure strict adherence to guidelines and standardized process landscapes
• Spearhead quality efforts and guide the quality verifiers team
• Monitor review progress and escalate concerns to the review manager

Requirements

• College or university degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
• Conceptual understanding of accounting theories, practices, and procedures
• Experience working with journal entries
• Ability to use deductive reasoning to solve problems and make recommendations
• Strong interpersonal skills to exchange information and ideas effectively
