Accounting Reconciliation Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform operational reconciliations, accounting movements, and tracking of accounting items related to armored car services.
• Execute deposit reconciliation processes, including the identification and resolution of accounting discrepancies.
• Analyze high-volume transaction databases to ensure the correct application of accounting movements.
• Perform figure balancing and prepare reports, reconciliations, and accounting entries.
• Provide team assistance by training new employees and offering daily guidance to junior staff.
• Follow established procedures to complete complex assignments and resolve issues requiring extensive research.
• Evaluate risks in business decisions to protect the company, clients, and assets while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in a commercial office or operations environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, specifically debits and credits for client accounts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a heavy focus on Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong mathematical and computing skills, including experience with complex spreadsheets and database management.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to perform document validation.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 9 am to 6 pm, with occasional weekend shifts required.
