Accounting Partner Lead

About the Company

Campfire builds modern accounting and financial operations software for growing companies. Our Partnerships team works closely with the accounting and finance ecosystem — CPA firms, outsourced accounting providers, and advisory practices — to bring Campfire to the businesses they serve.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prioritize, and recruit accounting firms, CPA practices, and outsourced accounting/bookkeeping providers as channel partners
• Own partner relationships end-to-end including onboarding, training, certification, and account management
• Design and negotiate partnership terms such as referral structures, revenue share, and co-selling agreements
• Build partner enablement content including training materials, certification programs, and playbooks
• Partner with Sales and Customer Success to convert referrals into pipeline
• Track and report on partner-sourced pipeline, revenue, and partner health metrics
• Represent Campfire at accounting industry events and conferences
• Gather partner feedback to inform Product and Marketing strategies

Requirements

• 3–6+ years of experience in partnerships, channel sales, or business development
• Exposure to accounting, fintech, or B2B SaaS ecosystems
• Working knowledge of accounting/CPA firm operations
• Track record of sourcing and negotiating partner relationships from scratch
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment
• Data-driven approach to reporting and prioritization
• Willingness to travel periodically for meetings and events

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience at an accounting or bookkeeping firm
• Experience at an accounting-adjacent software company
• Existing relationships within the CPA or outsourced accounting community
• Experience building a partnerships function from an early stage
