MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions (“MacMiller”) is the Northwest’s leading mechanical contracting firm, designing, delivering, and servicing HVAC, plumbing, and automation system solutions for commercial buildings.

Responsibilities

  • Support multiple accounting functions by rotating through Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Accounting, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets
  • Maintain accurate financial records by processing invoices, customer payments, journal entries, and reconciliations
  • Partner with project teams by supporting job costing, customer billing, and WIP reporting
  • Contribute to ERP transformation by learning new systems and adapting to evolving processes
  • Drive operational excellence by identifying process improvements and collaborating across departments

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
  • 2–4 years of accounting experience with exposure to multiple accounting functions
  • Construction or mechanical contracting industry experience strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of GAAP and construction accounting principles (job costing, WIP, percentage-of-completion)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, and VLOOKUP
  • Ability to learn new accounting systems quickly
