Accounting Operations Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses
• Develop a strong understanding of transaction flows and ensure accounting treatment aligns with US GAAP
• Focus on key financial areas such as revenue and cost of revenue within gaming operations
• Identify, design, and implement process improvements and automation opportunities within the accounting function
• Leverage tools such as Excel, Alteryx, and AI-driven solutions to streamline workflows
• Analyze datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights
• Partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen financial data, streamline reporting, and drive operational efficiency
• Communicate findings, recommendations, and process improvements clearly to stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 1+ years of relevant professional experience in accounting or finance
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and journal entry preparation
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and manipulation
• Demonstrated interest in automation, AI, and workflow optimization
• Strong analytical skills and effective communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Casino industry experience
• Experience or familiarity with automation tools like Alteryx
• Exposure to building or leveraging AI tools or agents
