Accounting Operational Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day financial transactions including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Manage the Accounts Payable function, including vendor relations, disbursements, and 1099 preparation
• Manage the Payroll function, including reviewing US and International timesheets and ADP payroll registers
• Ensure accuracy of AP and Payroll data for financial statements and monthly closing processes
• Develop and maintain systems, procedures, and policies for AP, AR, and Payroll functions
• Act as a liaison between the company, government agencies, and external accountants
• Prepare and recommend operating and personnel budgets

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field preferred
• Eight or more years of accounting experience
• Two or more years of supervisory experience
• Proficiency with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and accounting software
• Mandatory experience with ADP systems and 1099 filing
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
