Accounting Officer - AR

Responsibilities

• Generate and distribute accurate invoices to customers in a timely manner
• Verify billing data and resolve discrepancies
• Process credit memos, adjustments, and refunds
• Post customer payments to correct accounts and perform daily bank reconciliations
• Manage customer accounts and proactively contact overdue accounts via phone and email
• Develop collection strategies and negotiate payment plans
• Prepare and analyze aging reports, collection forecasts, and DSO analysis
• Perform reconciliation of AR sub-ledger to general ledger
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer billing inquiries

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• 0–2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, collections, or general accounting
• Strong collection and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
