Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the production of consolidated financial and regulatory reporting for legal entities in accordance with statutory requirements.
• Direct and manage specialized functional areas of accounting following established principles and procedures.
• Oversee the preparation, submission, and validity of all division or business unit financial reports and fiscal records.
• Administer approved accounting practices to ensure financial and operating reports accurately reflect business conditions.
• Maintain strong internal controls, oversee cash management, and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Train support personnel in accounting procedures, theories, and reporting requirements.
• Advise management on issues related to compliance, legal regulations, and strategic direction for the accounting function.

Requirements

• University degree in accounting, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional business experience.
• Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
• Experience managing specialized functional areas of accounting.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee the preparation and accuracy of complex financial reports.
• Experience directing subordinates and coordinating work activities within a team environment.
