Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure accurate and compliant reporting.
• Oversee accounting activities for IFRS 16 leases, cash management, provisions, intercompany transactions, and aviation taxes.
• Review and approve account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analyses to maintain integrity.
• Ensure compliance with SOX requirements by strengthening internal controls and supporting audits.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of accounting professionals.
• Partner with FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and Legal departments to provide financial guidance and support business initiatives.
• Drive automation and standardization projects to increase operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 6+ years of experience in Accounting, Financial Reporting, or Controllership.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, with specific expertise in IFRS 16 (Leases).
• Proven experience working within SOX or similar internal control frameworks.
• Proficiency with SAP S/4HANA.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within the aviation industry.
• Knowledge of local taxes.
• Experience leading finance transformation initiatives.
