Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Manage commission revenue accounting, including multi-carrier calculations and ASC 606 revenue recognition
• Implement AI tools to automate reconciliations and shorten the close cycle
• Oversee core accounting operations including AP, AR, and payroll-related entries
• Lead audit preparation and support external audit cycles and carrier-partner reviews
• Provide financial analysis and strategic insights to the CFO and senior leadership

Requirements

• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Experience in-house at a fast-growing company or Big 4 audit experience in financial services, fintech, or insurance
• CPA certification (strongly preferred or in progress)
• Deep understanding of GAAP and financial statements
• Expertise or strong interest in revenue accounting (ASC 606, SaaS, or commission revenue)
• Ability to build processes autonomously in a fast-paced environment
